 Ahoi, friends and partners !
Welcome on board of "Atlantic Affairs". The oceanliner left the harbour and steams straight forward into a golden future. After our first show in Bremerhaven in May 2002, the "Atlantic Affairs"-tour in Febuary 2003 and the "Atlantic Affairs" at the Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen in June 2003 weŽve travelled further on now. We did 3 "Atlantic Affairs"-Shows in China now. End of February we did Shanghai (Majestic Theatre) and March 5th we did the Exhibition Hall Theatre in Beijing. It was our first kind of co-production with international artists. Well, the biggest rockstar of China, Cui Jian himself brought a couple of friends. We rocked the stage, golden chemistry, chinese and german rock-feel, very special, phantastico... We had Nan (from the first chinese women-band "Cobra") on stage and my old brother-friend Lin Dong Fu, who did a great job as an additional ship-steward besides Ben Becker. They did all the translations and adaptions into chinese language and style. The divine Mrs. Li Jiang Ming translated the whole story beautifully with all its songs, poems, dialogs and narrations. THANX. The whole thing was sponsored by Volkswagen China. They build great cars to connect people. We build great shows to connect people. We build bridges of friendship between countrys and cultures that are still pretty new and unknow to each other. It is a beautifull mission that we are on. PEACE and FRIENDSHIP.
